Last year was one of the best in Bradley Cooper's career, and his refined modern, yet classic wardrobe has been taken up a notch. Cooper joined his leading lady on the red carpet in May at this year's Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Style Gala wearing a custom Tom Ford Tuxedo (Irina dazzled in Atelier Versace). The A Star Is Born lead and director rocked up to the LA Premier of his hit movie in September wearing a three piece, light grey/ blue three piece Gucci suit paired with black leather Christian Louboutin dress shoes. At the Toronto International Film Festival, he wore a 1960’s vibes, classic brown suit and dress shoes, which he offset perfectly bny pairing with a crisp white shirt and deep navy tie.
David Beckham
David Beckham has been leading the mens fashion game since he first came onto the soccer field in 1996. Beckham sat front row at his fashion designer wife’s NY Fashion Week runway show in February. The retired soccer star wore a tailored to perfection black suit and Christian Louboutin shoes. He attended the event of the year, The royal wedding in May with his wife, Victoria wearing a three piece, charcoal grey Dior Homme morning suit. He continued to showcase that Dior is his go to designer when it comes to well tailored suits, and sat front row at their menswear show, rocking the brand head to toe.
Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds has an eye for well tailored, Italian suits cut in a classic, gentlemanly style. He stepped out in 3 different looks from his go-to Brunello Cucinelli last year. He arrived to the LA premier of Deadpool 2 wearing a dark grey suit, complimented by a light, tan brown double breasted waistcoat. He donned a similar look at the London premier of his hit movie, this time opting for a navy suit and light grey waistcoat. Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively walked the red carpet of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in New York City in September, and the star once again wore head to toe Cucinelli, this time opting for a slim cut, navy Tuxedo with a black satin lapel, complemented by this matching bow tie.
Justin Timberlake
The Suit And Tie singer has been topping the style charts in recent years. He stepped out with his wife, Jessica Biel in a matching, head to toe all black Christian Dior look on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes. He rocked a more casual, yet still put together ensemble at Wimbledon in July, wearing a light grey suit, black polka dot tee shirt underneath, and crisp, white sneakers. He accompanied his leading lady on the Emmy’s red carpet wearing a timeless, classic tuxedo by his all time favorite designer, Tom Ford. Timberlake has come a long way from his NSYNC, ramen noodles hair and head to toe denim wardrobe mishaps, and it looks like he will continue to refine his style in 2019
Matt Smith
The English star has been dominating the fashion scene since the the premier of his hit series, The crown in 2016, but in 2018 he refined his old school, yet quirky style. He channeled his inner Prince Phillip when he stepped out in London in July wearing a double breasted, taupe suit. He matched his shoes and tie to the jackets dark buttons and opted for a simple, light blue shirt. He went for another retro-inspired look at the Venice Film festival, this time opting for a navy ensemble, khaki shirt, brown tie and black shoes. It was an unusual combination of colors, but the star pulled off the unconventional look with ease. Smith went old school Hollywood at the 2018 Emmy awards in September, he donned a classic tuxedo, complete with cummerbund. This homage to the old, combined with his non-traditional color combinations make him one to watch in 2019
